Now that I have my nice flatscreen HDTV, I’m wondering about my furniture. Dont you wish you had the money to just redecorate when you had the whim to do so and didn’t have to stop, think & save? I hate picking out furniture. My couch is about 6 years old, and my recliner? I have no idea how old it is because it was a hand me down. I love it, very comfy - but I seriously need an upgrade in the living room, maybe dump the couch and get some home theater chairs.
A few years back I had a travelling position for my job, I had to not only endure the lovely times spent in airports an hotelrooms, but I got to drag a laptop around with me to all of these places. And, not a fun, lightweight, state of the art laptop with at the very least a DVD drive so I could pass time watching movies - but a work related dinosaur laptop. It was heavy carrying that thing all round the country. I went through many computer bases before I finally settled on one with wheels that I could drag around! When I was going to go to a blogging convention last November, I ordered business cards for my blog to pass out and network with other bloggers. They were cheap, and easy to order. There are a lot of sites out there that do the same kind of work, only you can get very detailed with your custom logo design on some sites as opposed to others, of course, you are going to pay for that - but remember that your business card is your first impression on the customer.

The label stated that it makes your hair 7 times stronger with a special ingredient, Keravis. Keravis is a natural plant protein that’s exclusive to Naked Naturals shampoos and conditioners. Clinical tests prove that shampoos and conditioners with Keravis increase hair strength, adding flexibility and reducing breakage. Of course, you are going to pay a little extra for a product such as this, but they did include a coupon with my sample - to entice the thrifty shopper in me!
When we found our office space and were preparing to open for business, we had to go out and look for furniture. We needed standard cubicles with standard office type desks and accessories, all matching of course. It was easy to find, being standard…we are having trouble finding something for the warehouse, which also needs a desk, but something sturdy that will hold up to the wear and tear of the freight world. There are places you can go for industrial, technical and Lab Furniture, if this is the type of environment you work in. Formaspace does all that, and they can do anything from elegant to practical.
Your girl has 4 eyes. Yes, I wear corrective lenses. In the form of contacts. But, I do have glasses as well, as I take my contacts out at night. I tried the disposables, and I did not care for them at all….so, back to basics for me.

Not shampoo for DRY hair, but, actual dry shampoo. Dry cleaning for you hair? Is this what our world has come to? Are we SO busy that we need such a product? I can think of a few situations where dry shampoo would come in quite handy.
One such scenario would be the 3 day walk that I have done twice now. Instead of going back to camp and walking around all night with wet har because you have no access to electricity, in the cold by the way, as I walked in Philly…..you can just shower and spray the dry shampoo on your hair to refresh and renew it for another day.
The other time I can think this would be real handy would be if you were a contestant on Survivor! Think about it, you are stranded in the jungle somewhere with no access to soap, let alone shampoo….bring along a can of this shampooas your luxury item and you are the most popular girl in camp! Not only will your hair look and smell better than everyone elses, you can secure your position in the tribe by allowing others to borrow it! What? What’s that Jeff? Tonight is Biggest Loser! Seeing as how scripted TV has gone down the poop chute with the writers strike, unless you are into reruns, your reality shows are the only ones getting any airtime! I have always enjoyed The Biggest Loser, though I’m not really keen on this new “couples” edition - seems kind of unfair to have a partner to drag you down at the weigh in if you have busted your rear all week eating right and working out on the strength equipment. I’ll keep watching though, because Jillian is cool, and Bob the trainer is soooo hot!!
Mom is having another parasentesis this Friday, so older Sister is making the trek across i4 on Thursday to take her for that. We talked about me going over there for the weekend, as they have the itch to get a new car, and since I am the one that was delegated to assist with financial decisions, I would have to be there for that. I think getting out of that huge overpriced truck they have is a good idea, Mom can barely get in and out of it…but, after looking at the numbers and doing some research….it cannot be done, they are way too deep in the hole on that vehicle and no dealer in their right mind is going to make a deal with us. So, I have finally convinced Sister that they are not getting a new car at this time. Not that I wanted them to anyway…MY idea was to get them out of the truck and into a small, gently used car, so they have NO car payment.
