Mom had her appt with the oncologist this morning, I got the call from Sister with the results…..the tumor has shrunk! Not a lot, just a little bit - but so mich better than the alternative! We will take any morsel of good news we can get!! She starts another round of chemo after Thanksgiving, this time she is getting the 45 minute IV bag version, that you go to the Doctor’s office for once a week. No more radiation, apparently your body can only take so much of that. She goes in next week for her parasentesis (stomach drain), this is going to be an ongoing procedure - apparently the tumor is causing blockage in her veins which is causing the backup of fluid in her stomach.
We are making arrangements to ger her & Husband here for Thanksgiving, Sister does not htink she should drive, so one of us will have to go over and get them, and then bring them back home after a few days.
